One of Paul’s prime missions was to reveal “mysteries,” things that had never been revealed to the Church previously.

The word of God declares what God has said, but it takes the illumination of God to understand it and apply it to your life.

By the grace of God all believers have had their condition changed from with- out God and without hope to union with God and a living hope. The challenge is to live with these facts as a reality in your mind.

God, before the foundation of the world, decided to redeem you before you even knew you had a problem. Salvation is entirely, completely, from beginning to end, the work of God - GRACE!

Last week we looked at our inheritance reserved in Heaven as saints, today we will look at the parts of our inheritance available to us on earth. We continue our verse by verse study of Ephesians.

All believers have been adopted into the family of God, and with that adoption comes an inheritance both on earth and in Heaven.

Christ came to carry out the Father’s purpose; to “gather together” (reconcile) Israel and the Church, and the saints in Heaven and those on Earth, to make peace between God and man.

The struggle to secure God’s acceptance is over - we’ve been made accepted in the Beloved!
