We were bought with the blood of Jesus Christ and created in Christ for good works, which He has prepared for us. We are left here on earth to proclaim the excellencies of God and of Jesus Christ, and to proclaim the transformation that He has accomplished in us. We are the church.

In Matthew 4, we have the model of how Jesus went about making disciples, and there are many similarities and parallels for us to see how we are to make disciples. Does our approach to discipleship reflect our Lord's?

4/19/20 Sermon - Shane Koehler - All humanity lives in darkness because of sin. The darkness is not just around us, but within us. By nature, we are spiritually hardened and blind because of falsehood, pride, self-deception, self-interest, and self-righteousness. In contrast to this, Jesus Christ is the life and light of men. Jesus is the true light, who gives light to everyone if they receive Him. The light began to shine in Galilee and has now spread throughout the world. We need the light of Christ!
