1) God keeps His promises.

- maybe our view of hope is too small

What does this mean for us?

It helps us long for the renewal of all things.

The Holy Spirit and the Church

Who is the Holy Spirit?

How does the Spirit relates to us as a church?

NOT: an element, force or feeling

the third person of the Trinity

the Creed… "We believe in the Holy Spirit the Lord The Giver ofLife who proceeds from the father and the son with the father and the son who with the father and the son is worshiped and glorifiedThe spirit has spoken through the prophets."

#1, the Holy Spirit is the Lord, with the Father.
