Good evening, and thank you for joining us in our Wednesday evening service. Tonight Sister Janet is beginning to teach on the birth of Jesus. She brought up the reactions of the Father of John the Baptist when he had an encounter with an angel, and was filled with unbelief. We also discussed the same event unfolding with Mary the Mother of Jesus, and having the nearly the same reaction as the preacher, but she was young, and ignorant. However, even in her ignorance she knew that she had Faith to believe the angel, and that what Gabriel had said would come to pass.

Good evening and welcome to the Bible Study at Bismarck Church of God in Bismarck, MO. I apologize for missing a couple of weeks, and getting three weeks behind. However, tonight Sister Janet is teaching on Faith, and methods of how to develop our faith in Jesus Christ.

In this session Brother Lucas was teaching on the three types of forgiveness in the Bible. The three kinds of forgiveness is: 1) God's Forgiveness 2) Us forgiving others 3) the ability to forgive ourselves of our trespasses.

Tonight during the Bible study Sister Janet will be focusing on the gifting of other tongues, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This topic is a great one because it something that can and should be used to our advantage. When we pray in other tongues, or allow the Holy Ghost to pray through us, that allows pray straight to the God, and the Devil doesn't know how to defend against this. When you pray in tongues the Devil doesn't know what, who, or when you are praying about. This is a gift from God that he gave to us that we can stand above the enemy and his plans. We are the head and not the tail.

God is God All the Time!

Tonight Sister Janet was teach on prophecy, prophetic utterance, and the office of the prophet. In the church these are all important to know because it is one of the many times where the LORD is trying to inform the church or anyone of something that he deems worthy of knowing, or passing onto someone specific. The one thing that is important to know is that according to Amos 3:7 KJV, "Surely the LORD God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." In the ESV of Amos 3:7, "For the LORD God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets." The thing that most people do not yet understand is that the prophet is speaking on behalf of the LORD, and the things that is told of him or her to say at the time. The LORD often uses prophets to tell of events that could be yet to come as signs, and wonders that he is the LORD God Almighty.
