Don’t worry about money. Worry is the corrupt use of the imagination. People in this world without a relationship with God seek after money. But we are to put God’s kingdom first and seek His righteousness. AND the money will come!

We are beginning a new series today. This series is about You And the subject of Righteousness. Sin certainly is the problem in this world. But Jesus is and was God’s answer to the sin problem.

Fit for the Fight

This message is for all of us but especially for those who may be new and are trying to find a place to worship for your family.  It's also for those who are already members and may be trying to find a place to serve.

Bishop Butler has said and greatly believes that the biggest problem in the body of Christ is a lack of knowledge concerning assignment and a failure to carry out one's assignment.

My question to you today is:  Where do You Belong?

How many of you have found God to be Faithful?  God is Faithful!  There is no doubt about it.  Another way to say that is God can be trusted.  You can count on Him. But the question that came to my heart to minister to you by is:  Can God count on You?  and particularly financially?

Today we are receiving an offering to send to Jesse Duplantis Ministries to provide relief and assistance to those who experienced damages and hardship as a result of Hurricane Ida.  We know exactly what it's like to have such a powerful hurricane passover our area.  We know what it's like to experience damages and hardship as a result of weather events.  We also know what it's like to receive support from other churches and ministries who heard about what we were going through.  Last week we prayed for JDM as well as Living Life Church in Lafayette.  I also reached out to Leroy Thompson Jr. to see if they needed any help with anything.

We are partners with JDM and it's on our hearts to join with them and provide relief through their ministry.

Last week we also started talking about how a seed produces after its kind.  So today we are Sowing to Help Someone in Need.  What can we expect as a result of this?!  Divine protection from weather events, Divine restoration if we ever were to experience damages or hardship from a weather event.  What else can we expect?!  A harvest from the seed sown, i.e. $50 seed will be multiplied back.

In this series we are taking our communication skills to the next level in every relationship in our lives. The goal of this series is to introduce you to and teach you about 3 necessary tools for effective communication: Listening on Three Dimensions, Rules of Engagement, & Communication with Love & Respect.

The laws of sowing and reaping are still in effect to this day.  And one of the principles of the law of sowing is that a seed produces after its kind.  There is a variation of this law where you can sow one thing and reap another (A seed will meet any need.)  But at its basic level, a seed produces after its kind.
