The story of Micah is a sad one. This young man decided to create his own form of worship, set up an idol in his home, hire a young Levite to lead his family, and then expected God to be okay with it. God will bless what is right in our own eyes. He has set a standard.

During the time of the judges, Israel was caught in a vicious cycle of sin and despair. They would cry out to God, and God would save them, only to abandon God and His ways once the judge died. Are we so different? The similarities between the time of the judges and our present national condition are striking.

Who am I anymore? We live in a culture presently struggling with identity - gender identity, sexual identity, spiritual identity. It becomes too easy to point the finger at the lost and label them as twisting their purpose; however, many believers are just as confused about their identity, choosing to follow Jesus when convenient and go with the world when not. Who am I?
