 As time changes the meaning of Christmas, so our understanding of familiar Scripture passages can change.  This Christmas morning, we look at the Gift of God to the world in the verse John 3:16.

 The pilgrims had a season of scarcity.  God brought a means of provision in Squanto.  With the provision, God gave an abundance, and they gave thanks to the LORD.  In our text, we see the same pattern and learn how God abundantly provides for us.

Could we possibly comprehend all the feelings and thoughts of all humanity?  We wouldn't be able to handle it!  Yet God, in His power, is able to know all thoughts and feelings of anyone at any given time.  God, in love, cares for all mankind and is patient toward us.  If God cares for a wicked nation like Nineveh, shouldn't we care for a nation like America?  Tune in to discover the heart of God for a nation.

 Every good story is said to be segmented into an introduction of setting, an initial conflict, a rising plotline, a climax, a falling plotline, and a resolution.  Did you know that you are part of the real story?  Did you know that what happened on Mount Calvary is the climax of history?
