Big Idea: God provided us with Father’s to lead and guide us towards maturity in Christ. We should respect and honor them.

Jonah 3:1-10. God’s mercy is shown and revival spreads when Nineveh truly repents from their sin.In view of God’s mercy, we should pursue a lifestyle of repentance longing for revival.

Our Heavenly Father is a God of second chances.

God is Sovereign in showing His grace and discipline. We should find joy in His Sovereign plan.

All of us have rebelled like Jonah and are in need of the grace of God to rescue us. It's not just that Jonah didn't obey, it's also becasue his heart even in his obedience wasn't the heart of God. We uniquely see the Parable of the Prodigal Son in Jonah (both the younger and older son appear in Jonah--Younger in Chapter1 and Older in Chapter 3-4). Shows us in running away and obeying we can fail to share God's heart.

God has graced us with mothers to help nurture and support us to maturity in Christ. We ought to encourage and celebrate them.

Big Idea: Beware of False Prophets! We discern them by their attitude and actions.
