Hello and welcome to the Faith First Podcast where we are finishing our series on Forward. In today’s episode, we declare that we have made it to the finish line! Well, almost. Let me ask you, what do you do when you come upon an obstacle while pursuing your God-given dream? Do you give up? Or do you persevere and have your eye on the prize at the finish line? We will talk about all these things in today’s episode as I am joined by our Lead Pastor Steve Darr.

Giving all to Him we will see every weight of sin fall off. We will be set free from every sin that would tangle us. Each time we look to Him will give us the strength we need to endure and finish the race well.

Maybe we need to ask ourselves, what was Christ pursuing in His life? Through the greatest example of love for His people, God sent His Son to redeem the world. Jesus had a lifelong pursuit that drove Him forward to complete His mission. He pursued the greatest imaginable joy. The joy of being exalted to God’s right hand— for the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, so that you and I might be redeemed.
