On Live in the Light, we are learning from Paul about the surpassing glory of the New Covenant in 2 Corinthians 3:7-11. As Christians, we must still honour and appreciate the old covenant and the way it faithfully reveals our sin and need for redemption. Yet we are called to marvel at the New Covenant—the saving grace given to us through the sacrificial work of Christ. This New Covenant is permanent—written on our hearts when we have genuine faith in Jesus. This is why we must not lose heart!
What are you passionate about? What makes you get out of bed in the morning? Other than the timer set on the coffee machine. When we’re discovering the gifts that God has given us to serve and build up His people, we’ll find there’s often a connection between the two. We’ll learn more today with Pastor Nandom Gunen.
How can a simple act of compassion leave an eternal impact? Helen Van Dyke of Voice of Hope Kenya shares how caring for widows and orphans with food, shelter, and audio Bibles is bringing comfort, dignity, and the hope of Christ to families in need. Also, Galcom's Faye Whatford introduces the Hijra of India, an unreached people group facing deep questions of identity, and encourages listeners to pray that they would encounter the truth and love of Christ.
In this message, Dr. John Neufeld looks at the strife between Esau and Jacob from birth, tracing how a divided womb becomes a divided house. Along the way, he unpacks a hard truth: God's choice of Jacob had nothing to do with Jacob's character, and everything to do with mercy toward the undeserving. If you've ever wondered whether your own failures disqualify you from God's promises, this message says otherwise—and points to the God who chooses the unworthy anyway.
Amazing Promises to Dysfunctional People: In this 20-message series, Dr. John Neufeld walks through the dysfunctional family of Abraham found in Genesis 25-36, uncovering the relational brokenness at its core. Sin leaves human relationships fractured—we long for connection, yet find ourselves divided in so many ways. Listen in, and be challenged to live with integrity even when the world around you feels like it's falling apart.
You’ve probably heard that a Bible that’s falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t. One reason: When you’re constantly reading Scripture and meditating on its truth, the more you’re reminded of the blessings of being in Christ. Risk some wear and tear on your Bible with John MacArthur as he continues his study called The Gospel According to God.
Dig deeply with Pastor Chuck Swindoll into Job’s faith and integrity through sickness (Job 2).
