The most frustration thing during my youth days was to be told to listen to God when ever i needed advice from my pastor. I remember spending the whole night  praying to hear God's voice. The longer i stayed the more i got frustrated. The scripture in John 10:27-28 says that, i know my sheep and their hear my voice and the follow me.  So here is the thing hearing God is the most "natural thing" that we should experience. So anyone can hear God. The problem i had during  my youth days was the fact that i never bother to develop a relationship with God. i wanted God to speak when i wanted too and secondly I was trying to converse with a father i didn't know.  Many us thing God is speak to in an audio voice, right which is to say we want God to come to our medium of communicating yet God is spirit.  I am not saying God does speak audible but its most pastor will tell you its on rear occasions.
