Every worldview must have an explanation for why evil exists. From local shooting, heroin overdoses to mass murder and terrorist we can't ignore that evil exists but where did it come from and what should be done about it?  The Biblical framework gives us the ability to talk about evil, understand it and celebrate that it does not win in the end.  

The Christian worldview is the only worldview that coherently answers four of life's basic questions about Origin, Meaning, Morality and Destiny.

The Christian worldview is unique believing that God became human through Jesus and gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins. We must recognize that we were in a crisis and we couldn't save ourselves.  We needed a hero.  We also must realize that we are not "mistakers," but that we are sinners in need of something more than self help advice and fatalistic karam doctrine. Once We realize why Jesus became incarnate and came to earth, we can begin to see the beauty of the Christian worldview.

One of the arguments against the God of the Bible is from places in scripture where God performs acts of judgment.  How do we reconcile Jesus teachings of love with stories of judgment from the Old Testament.  But when God brings judgment is that really immoral?  Can an atheist really say anything is right, wrong, or evil if there are no absolute moral standards?  Join us as we give four logical responses to this objection to the Christian worldview.

Everyone believes something about Jesus but is it accurate and historical? Few people today actually have a historically, and Biblically informed image of Jesus. This is a crisis because if our view of Jesus is incorrect or bent then our view of ourselves will be incorrect and distorted.  We can't live into our purpose in life if we think Jesus is vindictive, evil or a fictional monster.

Where do we get our concept of right and wrong?  Who has the ability and authority to determine our morality?  In a culture that says there is no absolute truth it should be not be shocking that we also don't want an absolute moral truth or code.  But we are creatures governed by a moral law and a moral code established by God.  In this episode we will introduce the concept of a moral law and God as a moral law giver.

Life is difficult.  There are many people in our lives that want to define us and tell us what our purpose is.  Some of these people are helpful and some others are more destructive.  How do we know what our purpose is?  

This first talk of our new series on the Christian worldview reveals that our purpose and meaning are derived from a relationship with God.  This is good news because your value is always founded in what God thinks of you.

In the Christian worldview our identity is defined by our relationship with God, but who is God?  Can God be known?  What is God really like?  Is God good or bad?  If our identity is based on the Creator then there is nothing more important in life than the discovery of God.
