Does it feel like it is getting more difficult to distinguish between those who follow Jesus and those who do not.  It might be because it true.  A sect of the Church has labeled themselves Progressive Christians and they have jettisoned many of the core beliefs revealed in scripture.  Too often the average church member is unaware of the false teachings that have begun to influence their thinking.  In this episode Sarah and Aaron tackle four myths perpetuated by those who no longer believe and those who just have not acknowledged that they no longer can call themselves a disciple of Christ. 

Being a disciple of Jesus is difficult.  Too many people stop following Jesus when they experience suffering because they expected Jesus to prevent all the trials in their lives.  But Jesus never said he would keep us from harm.  Instead He promised to lead us through the valley of the shadow of death.
