<p>Luke recounts Jesus teaching, "Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom." (Lk 12:32) To live our lives even now <em>in the Kingdom of the beloved Son</em> requires faith, and so, this homily considers one of the most famous verses on faith in the New Testament: "Faith is the substance of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen." (Heb 11:1)</p>
