Romans chapter 11 makes Chris Heeb’s top five New Testament chapters list, because he says it is essential to Israel and the church to understand God’s understanding of the history of his salvation and how it works. Although we are not saved by good works, it is discussed that there are indeed consequences when God’s people disobey Him and do not show reverence to Him and Israel.

The fifth program in the Romans series, and begins with a reminder that the way to righteousness is through the Bible. Romans nine, 10 and 11 is said to scare some readers off because it effects the emotions in a major way. This section of Romans brings up the topic of God’s will and his plan to bring all things together for good. Chris and Rabbi Ed advises that we keep in mind the opportunities for struggles to bring us closer to God.

Romans chapter six is the topic of discussion in today’s Faith Roots Radio program. “If Jesus was not raised from the dead - we would have nothing.” Chris Heeb and Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman say you cannot live out your faith unless you believe in the resurrection. It is an essential belief. The sinful nature of human beings is also discussed, compared to the Holiness of the commandments God has given us.
