Living in the Tree of Life

What is going to be my approach to God

Two approach that we have to decide

1. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil — Do more to get to God.

2. The Tree of Life — Receive what Jesus already did.

Three Responses

1. Fall in love with Jesus

2. Respond to sin with life.

3. Guard my heart from going back.

Three Baptisms Available for You

1.Baptism into the Body of Christ — Salvation

2.Water baptism — Public declaration of my faith.

3.Baptism in the Holy Spirit — Living a Spirit Empowered Life

(Matthew 16:18 NIV) “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will  not overcome it.”

Four Areas of Passion

1. Passion for prayer.

2. Passion for praise and worship.

3. Passion for purity.

4. Passion for people.

Remember, a life not lived for others is not a life.

Pray first

1. Pray first for our nation

2 Pray first for my family

3. Pray first for the lost

4. Pray first for my needs

Prayer should be our first response not our last resort

Your will be done

(Matthew 6:10) Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is  in heaven

Real prayer is driven by relationship  not need or crisis

*The Difference*

1. Start with worship.

2. Fully surrender.

3. Pray with confidence

4. Make it personal not formal.
