The earthly phase of Jesus’ ministry was characterized by prayer.So much was said about the prayer life of Jesus in the days of his flesh.

There is a rest promised to the people of God.The promise of rest was first preached to the children of Israel who were brought out of Egypt.The scripture said they did not enter because of “unbelief”.

Our faith in Christ Jesus has made us sharers in certain heavenly benefits.We are no more spectators or strangers to the commonwealth of promise.

The humanity of Jesus Christ was expressed in different ways.In the gospel of John, it says “the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us”. God himself partook of flesh and blood, he took on the physical nature of human beings.

The authorised voice today from heaven to us is that of Jesus Christ.God is still saying to us “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, hear him”.

The scriptures don’t only show us our identity in Christ, it also speaks of the expected conduct of the believer in Christ.
