Lord's Day 9-I. God is our Father through saving faith in Jesus Christ. As our heavenly Father, for the sake of His Son, God--1- Provides what we need for body and soul-2- Will turn adversity to good-II. God is able to do this because--1- He is Almighty God-2- He is our faithful Father-III. Our response- Faith, trust, and gratitude

I. Although our world and it's history often seem chaotic, God's purpose in history includes--1- The redemption of His elect-2- Oversight and control of time-3- His working out every detail to redeem His people-II. Our response includes living to the praise of God's glorious grace as we live out our faith in every sphere of life, Trusting God rather than worrying about circumstances
