Jacob delivers part 2 of our new series, "He is Greater", with a message entitled, "Greater than our Fear." People react differently when they're afraid, but Jesus says that fear should have no control over our lives. Jesus proves this in a mighty way when He calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Jacob kicks off the new 2019 theme at Faith Village--"He is Greater". John the Baptist said of Jesus in John 3:30, "He must become more; I must become less." Jesus is to be greater than every facet of our lives. In part one of this series, Jacob discusses the need for Jesus to be Greater than our Success.

As painful as the cross was, Jesus experienced just as much pain in the Garden of Gethsemane hours before Calvary began. After promising Jesus they would never leave His side, all of the apostles "fled" the scene upon His arrest. Why did it have to happen this way? Jacob gives two possible reasons why, and what those reasons mean for us today.
