Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
Are you weary from the battle you're fighting?
Maybe you've been praying, working, raising your family, fighting temptation, trying to lead your home, and doing your best to remain faithful—but somewhere along the way, you got tired.
In Episode 6 of Faith Without Works, we're opening the Bible to look at what happens when the work isn't finished, but the worker is weary.
Nehemiah's burden-bearers were tired, but there was still a wall to build.
Moses' hands became heavy, and Aaron and Hur stood beside him and held them up.
Elijah reached the point where he said, "It is enough," yet God provided what he needed for the journey ahead.
And Paul reminds us in Galatians 6:9:
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
Sometimes you need somebody to help hold your arms up.
Sometimes you need to rest and be strengthened for the journey.
Sometimes you need to remember the Lord, remember what you're fighting for, and keep building.
Being tired doesn't mean you're finished.
Heavy arms don't mean you've lost the battle.
Resting isn't surrendering.
And sweating doesn't mean the work is over.
Brother, don't quit in the middle.

Faith Without Works is about a faith that isn't merely something we talk about on Sunday in a suit. It's something we're called to live out every day—in our homes, our marriages, raising our children, on the job, and everywhere in between.
Because if we say we believe it, eventually our lives ought to show it.
