I had a great conversation with Jessica Beard. Jessica Beard is a professional sprinter who specializes in the 400m. She has been on the USA Women's 4 x 400m relay teams that have won gold medals at world championships most recently in Doha. She also was blessed to be on the 1st ever mixed 4x400m team that set the world record in the prelims and also won a gold medal. Listen to her awesome journey as she was a Christian who grew up rules based with the idea that "if you live right God will bless you." Today I was honored to have on Mike Cunningham, Mike was a former D1 track and field Head coach. He has an amazing story of how he followed what he then thought was dumb luck, but after he came to the Lord, he realized that it was Jesus' hand guiding him after all. You will here the theme of his community always inviting him to come to church wherever he was at at the time. It was a fun conversation to hear this track coach, turned professional poker player to landing at Gill Athletics as the National sales manager. What a fun conversation to hear his story about his upbringing, in a strict regimented catholic home to the day that he found Jesus and made him his friend. You will hear his story and journey to how he tried to find success in the business world but realizing he was called to be a teacher.
