Episode Title: Overwhelmed Mom's Guide to Vision Boards: The Mindset Shift That Actually Makes Goals Stick
Episode Description: If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, losing sight of your dreams, and wondering if goal-setting is even worth it anymore — this episode is for you.
Have you ever made a vision board, hung it up with all the hope in the world, and then watched it slowly become part of the wall you stop seeing? Have you ever felt so buried in the day-to-day of mom life that dreaming about your future feels almost laughable? Have you ever thought, I know what I want — but had no idea how to actually get from here to there?
Mama, the problem isn't your dreams. It's the missing piece nobody talks about.
In this episode we are diving deep into the how and why of vision boards — and I promise this is not your typical cut-and-paste craft project conversation. We're talking about the mindset work that has to happen first, the framework that sets you up to actually receive what you're dreaming about, and the secret sauce at the end that makes the whole thing come alive. Stick with me all the way to the end because that last part? That's where everything shifts.
We're starting by checking our B.A.S.E. — a four-part framework to get your mind and energy ready to dream boldly:
🌟 Body — Move and get your brain oxygenated for creativity
🌟 Attention — Focus on thoughts that empower and excite you
🌟 Speech — Speak words that align with the life you're creating
🌟 Energy — Tap into an energy-rich state so you can dream without limits
From there we're getting into dream time — mapping out your ideal life across every area that matters, turning your vision into a life GPS that actually guides your decisions and keeps your marriage, your purpose, and your priorities front and center every single day.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, marriage disconnection, and losing yourself in the constant cycle of frustration with the people you love most — this episode is for you.
Have you ever slapped a mental "naughty or nice" label on someone in your life — your kid, your husband, maybe even yourself — and felt the weight of that judgment sit heavy in your chest? Have you ever found yourself in the same argument with your spouse, the same standoff with your child, wondering why nothing ever changes? Have you ever thought, I just want more grace in this house — but didn't know how to get there?
Mama, what if the shift you've been looking for isn't a strategy — it's a perspective?
In this episode we're diving into one of the most powerful mindset reframes I've ever come across: the idea that everyone — your kids, your husband, even you — is doing the best they can with what they've got. That doesn't mean excusing bad behavior or letting yourself off the hook. It means trading judgment for empathy, and watching what happens to your relationships when you do. I'm even pulling in a little inspiration from This Is Us — because sometimes a good tear-jerker puts it better than any self-help book ever could.
When you stop trying to sort everyone into "naughty or nice" and start seeing them as whole, growing, imperfect people — something shifts. In your marriage. In your parenting. In the way you talk to yourself on the hard days. And that shift? It's where the real connection starts.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, the comparison trap, and a joy that keeps getting hijacked by everyone else's highlight reel — this episode is for you.
Have you ever picked up your phone for two minutes and put it down feeling worse about your life than when you started? Have you ever watched another kid hit a milestone and felt that little twist in your chest before you could even stop it? Have you ever looked at someone else's marriage, someone else's home, someone else's family — and felt the quiet ache of why doesn't mine look like that?
Mama, comparison is sneaky. And it is absolutely stealing your joy.
The tricky thing about comparison is that most of it happens below the surface — in the unconscious scrolling, the offhand observations, the ways we measure our insides against everyone else's outsides without even realizing we're doing it. And the emotional toll it takes doesn't just affect your mood. It seeps into your mental health, your self-esteem, your mindset, and your marriage in ways that are easy to miss until the damage is already done.
But here's what I love about this conversation — comparison doesn't have to be the enemy. When we learn to use it as a tool instead of a weapon, it can actually become one of the most powerful catalysts for growth we have. In this episode we are flipping the script completely.

TOP 10% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST!! Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What am I even doing with my life?" Do you put yourself in "time-out" just to catch a breath? Do you ever feel like…
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready to rise into the woman they're called to be.
This is where you'll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you'll reconnect with who you actually are and start leading your life on your own terms.
I'm Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin' husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness. For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn't help me feel supported or seen.
Through real conversations, faith, and learning to actually lead myself, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I'm here to walk this journey with you.
If you're ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don't (honestly, it's clean, that's what matters)—and let's get our change on.
