I'm back with another insightful conversation - this time with Rebekah Scott, a wife, mother of four, fashion designer, podcaster, and ranch owner. Rebekah shares brilliantly practical wisdom on achieving work-life balance. I loved her "top down" approach to priorities, putting God first, then spouse, kids, and work. She explains why this order matters, especially for parenting. Rebekah then dives into her life-changing "5 Systems" for managing the whirlwind - including simple but game-changing hacks. Like deciding on dinner by 9am to free up mental bandwidth. Genius! You'll learn specific ways to guard your time, build resilience, and approach life with joy. Rebekah models a Biblical approach that equips us to faithfully engage in every role. I left feeling refreshed and full of hope. Whether you're an entrepreneur, parent, or anyone seeking more harmony - don't miss this conversation! Rebekah inspires us to steward our gifts and cultivate the lives God intends. Let me know what stood out to you in the comments!

Recently, I had the opportunity to chat with Brad Brandon, CEO of Across Nigeria. His firsthand account of ministering to persecuted Christians and reaching Muslims in northern Nigeria was truly eye-opening. In our conversation, Brad shares the dangers Christians face under Sharia law and from extremist groups like Boko Haram and ISWA. Yet God is still at work! We discuss the schools Across Nigeria that have been built to serve Muslim communities and build relationships. Brad also tells stories of new converts who lose everything when they turn to Jesus. You'll be inspired by his faith and insight into discipleship that we can apply in our own context. I left with a greater appreciation for religious freedom and a challenge to seek out my own "Nigeria"—the purpose God has called me to. What stuck out to you most from Brad's experience in northern Nigeria? What might your "Nigeria" be right now? Click the link below to check out Across Nigeria and sign up for their newsletter. I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Pastor Cory Rosenke on my podcast about finding purpose and fulfillment through understanding our spiritual identity. Cory shared incredibly insightful perspectives on topics like overcoming destructive habits with faith, the benefits of homeschooling children through a spiritual lens, and what the "soul" means from a Christian viewpoint. I loved Cory's casual, laidback energy as he unpacked concepts in a way that makes you feel like you're just talking with a friend. He has a gift for simplifying complex ideas without watering down their meaning. A few big takeaways: - We often reduce our identity to physical beings, when we have non-physical souls with unique purposes placed in us by God. - Our "soul cravings" for things like security, identity, independence, significance, and innocence can only be fully satisfied through connection with our Creator. - If we don't understand the spiritual side of who we are, we'll always feel dissatisfied no matter how much worldly success we achieve. Cory explains these ideas in such an engaging way using great illustrations and stories. I highly recommend giving this episode a listen if you wrestle with questions about finding meaning and purpose in life. Let me know what intrigues or resonates with you most after tuning in! Blessings to each of you.

I recently had the pleasure of chatting again with therapist Pamela Garfield-Jaeger about her incredible new book offering practical tips for families navigating gender distress. Pamela shares openly from her experience working with young people struggling with gender identity issues. I was shocked to hear that in one program, half the girls were identifying as trans! 😮 This opened Pamela's eyes to how mainstream transgender affirmation has become, often targeting vulnerable youth. In our conversation, Pamela compassionately challenges common myths.

I recently had an enlightening chat with trauma and spirituality expert Tina Smith. As someone who has struggled to reconcile my faith with past hurts, I was intrigued to hear her thoughts. Tina shared so many nuggets of wisdom, like how we tend to view mental illness and sin as mutually exclusive. But it's often our unhealed wounds that lead us into behaviors the Bible defines as sinful. Powerful stuff! She also talked about the neuroscience confirming our need for connection to heal. Even introverts like me need community! Lastly, Tina offered guidance for overcoming religious trauma and finding specialists who can help. I'd love to hear your takeaways too. What resonated with you most? Does anyone have additional resources for religious trauma support? Let me know in the comments!
