  • 111. WE’RE ANALYSING XADEN'S THRESHING
We’re continuing our chapter-by-chapter deep dive into Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros, and this time we’re stepping into Xaden Riorson’s Threshing Day.

And WOW… this chapter gives us a LOT to unpack. From Sgaeyl’s history and her mysterious warnings, to Alic Baran, Molvic, Kaori, Melgren’s signet, the Riorson family history, and some VERY suspicious details about what Xaden may have been destined for long before he met Violet.

    • Why does Sgaeyl have a warning not to be approached under ANY circumstances?
    • Did Lilith really manipulate the weather during Threshing?
    • What is Molvic doing at Xaden’s Threshing?
    • Is there more going on with the Riorson family line than we realised?
    • Are the references to green eyes another clue about Imogen?
    • Could the Riorson birth order reveal something VERY important about the future of Tyrrendor?
    • And why does Kaori warn them about three mysterious dragons we haven't seen before? We’re looking at the possibility that this chapter could be quietly foreshadowing the future destruction of Basgiath, the Vale, and even the dragon hatching grounds.
💬 What did YOU notice in Xaden’s Threshing Day? Did we miss a clue? Let us know your theories in the comments!

  • 110. WE’RE ANALYSING MIRA'S THRESHING
We’re continuing our chapter-by-chapter deep dive into Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros, and this time we’re stepping into Mira Sorrengail’s POV.And just like Brennan’s chapter, Mira’s Threshing Day is packed with details that might be MUCH more important than they first appear. We’re breaking down everything we noticed between the lines, from Teine, the mysterious green Clubtail, to Mira’s complicated relationship with her family, the history of the Sorrengails, and some very interesting clues about what could be coming next.

Does Teine really have no previous bonded riders?
Could Mira’s willingness to protect Brennan be foreshadowing something darker?
Why does Mira seem to know less about dragons than we would expect? What is the connection between the Sorrengails and the elements?
Why does Zihnal seem so important to Mira and Brennan?
Is something strange going on with the geography and Brennan’s location?
And what could Mira’s Threshing tell us about Violet’s future?

We’re also looking at the references to Fen’s frustrations with conscription and Talladium, the mysterious Cowan Zana, the strange weather during Threshing.

💬 What did YOU notice in Mira’s Threshing Day? Did we miss a clue, a connection, or a piece of foreshadowing?Let us know in the comments.

  • 109. WE’RE ANALYSING BRENNAN'S THRESHING
We’re back with another chapter-by-chapter deep dive into Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros, and this time we’re stepping into Brennan Sorrengail’s POV. And honestly… this chapter gave us A LOT to talk about.

We’re also taking a closer look at:

    • Asher’s incredible amount of foreshadowing Could Asher have been using a signet or some kind of magic?
    • What does Asher’s silver hair mean?
    • Why does Asher seem to know Brennan will become a rider?
    • What is the connection between Zinhal and the orange dragons?
    • Marbh, “Zinhal’s Chosen”?
    • What does it mean to accept Zinhal’s gifts without hesitation?

And then there are the little details that might turn out to be MUCH more important than they seem…
    The voices in the forest.
    The bird references.
The similarities between Brennan’s reactions and what we’ve seen from Violet and Xaden.
    The mysterious bracelet.
