A while back, my hubby asked for and received a beautiful new BBQ grill. It’s so pretty on our patio. It took hours for him and his buddy to put together. It heats evenly and burns slowly. LOVE! The only problem is that the hubby is not a fan of manning the grill. So, until recently we have hardly used it.
I have recently taken it upon myself to start using it! Previous to this I was prepping items and he was begrudgingly heating it all. I think I’m in love! And, yes, I am adding it to my new cooking tools list.
Here are SEVEN things I’ve learned in this short amount of time:
1. MARINATE!
2. Spray down the grill with EVOO or put some on with a brush.
3. Don’t crowd your grill space.
4. Lower the heat and cook slower.
5. Veggies are a YES!
6. Make foil packets.
7. Flip ONE time. Just let it cook.
Of course, I also chat about my meal plan for this week.
