Spiritual decline has always been a problem with the people of God. Vigilance to remain faithful is our responsibility.

This sermon interprets Isaiah 27:13 as a prophetic picture of the gospel age, focusing on the restoration of lost sinners through the preaching of Christ. The preacher identifies three key elements: the desperate condition of the sinner as an outcast ready to perish, the powerful and inviting sound of the gospel trumpet that calls them home, and the ultimate goal of worshiping God in Jerusalem. The tone is both convicting regarding human sinfulness and comforting in the promise of redemption through Jesus Christ.
