The Nittany Lions traveled to Columbus and, as the script called for, left in defeat. The manner in which they were defeated however - by a comparatively narrow margin (the 21-point underdogs lost by 11) and having finally forced the Buckeyes into a four-quarter game - left many fans with a good feeling about Penn State's bowl prospects and season overall.
