This sermon starts focusing on Genesis 3 and the temptation and fall of the first man and woman. Pastor Tritten takes exception to the term "Fall" because of the choices that were made, but also points out that God responds with a promise of a savior. The sermon then focuses on Matthew 4:1-9 and the account of Jesus' temptation in the wilderness where He faces the same temptations, but in different form. In the end, holiness is restored to humanity by Jesus and He presses on to die and rise to save all people from sin and death.
