They said it couldn't, shouldn't, and wouldn't be done!! Tonight, along with the greatest living Fall detective, Dannyno, we exhume the entire Totale mythos!!

From the Friel letters and his coal-shed birth to the Welsh hills of his demise, we trace Roman XVII and his vicious son Joe's journey from the mind of MES to the press releases, sleeve notes and songs that make up this most mysterious of Fall ephemera. If you believe that one should not overanalyse the Fall, you might want to skip this one!

"With guest readings from friends (and enemies) of the show Steve 'Church of the Fall' Titley, Frose E. Weegibo & Rob 'Mac7" Macleod, it's a laugh riot!!!"  - Hellenic Void XXXii

"The only reason we know this is that is was well-documented" - Joe Totale (from a safe house somewhere in England)

T'night! We talk all things "Hey Luciani!" With top-drawer special guest Funky Si Wolstencroft.

The play originally ran for two weeks in London in late 1986 and starred members of the group alongside Leigh Bowery, Michael Clark and J.Loaded Brown. We dig into the plot and history of the play before having a good old chat with Funky Si about his memories of the era and the songs featured in the performance.

We are, of course, doing this special as we are putting on a version of the play (staged for the first time in nearly 40 years!) at the Prestwich arts festival in two weeks time (Sept 23rd 2023). Tickets for the evening show have sold out, but there are a few left for the matinee performance. You can get them here if yer quick
