Jesus led His diciples up toward Jerusalem, knowing full well the suffering that was to come as a result. And His disciples knew of it as well.

God's Provisions bring Him Glory, and He gives us a spiritual inheitance and works on our behalf and we trust Him more in that.

Jesus made it clear to us that following Him woud cost us. But in the end, our endurance of the tribulations will pay off with our eternal reward.

God appeals to us to obey Him, because if we obey Him, He will give us the best life we could have living in His will, and that is true freedom.

The disciples were in despair after jesus' death, but when jesus resurrected He reminded them of how the scripture had told them that everything that had happened had worked according to God's plan. The truth of God's truth in scripture brings Joy and compels us to proclaim the hope restored in our hearts!

Nothing is impossible for God. That's why we trusted Him for salvation in the first place!

God empowers us for ministry including suffering for His glory.
