We should respond as if the gospel is really true, because the historical evidence shows that it is. How is the gospel incontrovertible? 1. The miracles – show that Jesus was attested by God. We start improving our baptism by realizing that the baptism of Jesus has enormous significance, and so does our baptism! 1. The baptism of Jesus meant that from the start, Jesus was on our side.
