False Seekers of Jesus - John 6:22-34

In this sermon we were reminded that not everyone who seeks Jesus truly seeks Him for who He is. False seekers may appear devoted, but they only come to Christ for earthly blessings because their hearts have not been changed. Instead of treasuring Jesus, they treat Him as a means to get what they want, and what tragedy this is."Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”" (John 6:26-27)
