In August's roundtable discussion with Go to Travel Gal team members Cami, Lisa and Stephanie, we chat about our favorite road trips from the National Parks out West to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky to Colorado and California and share our tips and plans for upcoming road trips.

In this first edition of my Conversations With Friends series, where we informally chat with avid travelers about their travel experiences and tips, I kick it off with my dad.

He's a longtime traveler who's a Delta Flying Colonial (it's a lifetime designation that you can't get anymore but that grants you special privileges!). He's quite adventurous and has done things like scuba diving with sharks, rafted down the Zambezi River in Africa and also enjoys traveling to metal detect. He's even found 1 of just 14 Saxon "sceat" coins in the world!
