Lyn explains our easy method for earning the Southwest Companion Pass and ALWAYS having a Southwest Companion Pass that lasts for almost 2 full years.
**Please note that as of January 1, 2023, Southwest requires you to earn 135,000 points to reach Companion Pass status, but so long as you hold at least 1 Southwest card during the year you're accumulating your points, they give you 10,000 points toward Companion Pass, which makes up the difference between the previously required 125,000 points.**
