As Pastor Jimmy continues his teaching series through the book of Galatians, he’ll be challenging you to be and others-centered and generous. Our God is a giving God. He is a God of abundance, and He loves to give. He sacrificed willingly on the cross and then invited you into fullness of life. As His child, you are called to imitate Him. Your generosity in giving is a demonstration of God’s character and a response to what He has done for you. Christians are giving people, and, in giving, they lose nothing.  

In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin. Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death. Biblical salvation refers to your deliverance from the consequences of sin. It’s only Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved your salvation. Today, Pastor Jimmy will explain that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ.

Have you ever been somewhere where you felt really out of place? When you looked around the room, you realized that you weren’t dressed right, you didn’t have the right vocabulary, and you certainly couldn’t relate to their spending habits. That can be awkward, right? Today, in his message, Pastor Jimmy teaches you that in the family of God, there’s room for everyone. You don’t have to “fit in” with a certain social or economic class. You don’t need to have a special vocabulary… all you need is Jesus.

In first-century Rome, well-off families would hire a tutor or a mentor to train their children. This tutor would teach the children everything - from basic education to philosophy, as well as any practical skills they’d need in life. When a child would come of age, the tutor would no longer be needed; their job was complete. In his message today, Pastor Jimmy shares with you that in Christ, the law is no longer needed to draw you close to God. Since Jesus came, you’ve been made mature by faith through grace.

When you work in business, it makes sense to work hard because the more you bust your tail, the higher up the ladder you can climb. The harder you work, the higher you climb, and the higher you get, the more you get out of it all. In his message today, Pastor Jimmy shares with you that when it comes to salvation, you can never work hard enough or climb high enough to reach heaven. Yes, you absolutely should work hard for the Lord; not to earn salvation, but because He gives it to you freely.

Sometimes, social pressures are enough to cause even those with the strongest convictions to cave under them. In the early Church, even the Apostle Peter faltered when it came to the pressure of the legalists who wanted the Gentile Christians to keep the Jewish law. In his message today, Pastor Jimmy shares with you that the law could never save you, and that the only way you can be made right with God is by grace through faith in Jesus. His work on the cross did what the law could never do.

Where does the disconnect come from between the words of Scripture and many people’s aims for salvation?  In today’s message, Pastor Jimmy teaches about several groups of people who believe we must do more than what Jesus already did.  This is false teaching!  Jesus’ finished work on the cross paid the price for all sins of all mankind past, present, and future.  Don’t fall into the trap of believing you must do more!  How can you apply this truth of Scripture to your daily living? 

The beauty of the Gospel is that it is ALL possible only through the finished work of Jesus.  In today’s teaching, Pastor Jimmy implores listeners to stop trying to “earn” their way to Salvation through various good works.  The Bible is clear that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, and no other way!  Have you been searching for a way to make yourself more “right” with God?  There is nothing that you can do to impress God or get closer to Him, apart from simply surrendering and putting your faith in Him! 

Our society has become exceptionally permissive in many aspects of life, lacking any moral compass or guidelines. Several national studies attribute much of this moral decay to a decline in church involvement. Today, Pastor Jimmy presents statistics that support these findings. When only mothers attend church, about 2% of their children continue attending church as adults. However, when fathers attend church, over 40% of their children attend once they are grown. Our examples are important roles.

Fear is a crippling emotion that affects everyone at some point. Unexpected life changes—such as a health diagnosis, the end of a relationship, or other significant shifts in our daily patterns—can instill fear. In today’s message, Pastor Jimmy shares a personal experience when a health diagnosis filled him with overwhelming fear and how God provided encouragement and healing through His Word. He emphasizes that God’s assurance of being with him empowers him to face any challenge today.
