This Psalm is an analogy of God as our Shepherd and we are His sheep, and as such we enjoy the benefits of God's Provision, Protection and His Promises in our lives.
Andrew shares some of his personal testimony of how God has brought him through life despite experiencing some brain injuries in an accident as a child.
There are covering words from Ps Chris as well.
Mandy shares how this Psalm impacted her life at salvation, and has continued to minister to her over the years as she's followed God's plan for her life. God knows everything about us - He is all-knowing and continues to love, lead and guide us, as we surrender to Him.
When Joshua and the children of Israel faced significant changes, God repeatedly told Joshua to be strong and courageous. We looked at three different ways how we, as children of God, can personally be strengthened
Family Church Pastors gather for a Round Table discussion on the true meaning of the scripture Acts 2:42 and following....
The NIV Bible titles this ‘The fellowship of the believers’
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
The NKJV Bible titles this ‘A Vital Church Grows’
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ [n]doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
All of our Pastors draw vitally important nuggets from this scripture in relation to the future of our Church Fellowship. This is a ‘must listen’ message!!
In this message we look at the early church through the lens of 3 of our Family Church values: We are: Community-minded, Family and Disciples.
Whether we are facing Temptations, Tensions, Triumphs or even Tragedy, God promises that He will never us nor forsake us.
As God had promised Abraham, Moses and Joshua about His plans and purposes, He also promises us, as New Covenant believers of our own Promised Land. Joshua 1 displays three key ingredients necessary to activate the "Recipe for Success" needed to walk in the abundant life God has promised us.
We can have confidence in God as we abide under His protective shadow, having hope for the future, faith for today and freedom from the past.
One thing speaks of being single-minded, undivided, dedicated and pure in heart. In Psalm 27, David experiences confidence, celebration and victory in the midst of conflict and battle, as he maintains a pure undivided heart in the midst of it all. In this message we are encouraged to desire and draw near to God, to lay aside distractions, look at His beauty and listen to His voice.
