  • Special Episode: Parenting Around the Holidays

    Send us Fan Mail

Hey! Welcome to a special episode of Family in Progress. We’re chatting about the holidays today! Parenting has its own set of challenges and it is not lost on us that parenting around the holidays can be a whole other level of stressed. For those who are fostering, in the process of adoption, or having to share your time with your children- we’re thinking of you. I say this in the episode but I want to make sure you hear this, the list of tips I share is not a magical recipe, but I do hope you can take a few things away. I also want to say, not everyone’s story is going to be the same and there is no way we could have covered every scenario, every family make up, every holiday or every celebration. We mainly use Christmas as an example, but know that this can be applied to whichever celebration you are having. This talk is based around mine and Denise’s experiences and not all will be true for you. I only ask you keep an open mind and enjoy. I’m hopeful this will be a joyful episode for you.
