Wednesday night series

Our God is a miracle working God. As New Covenant people, we have discovered that miracles are relevant in the new millennium. Everything that Jesus died for is available for everyone for whom He died.

Our God is a miracle working God. Many would say that the day of miracles has passed, but our focus is not on the “day” of miracles—we believe in the “God of miracles.”

Miracles and belief in the miraculous is a part of our Christian legacy and heritage. Some people think that God no longer does or wants to do miracles. It seems odd that one would think that an Old Covenant miracle-working God would no longer operate miraculously for New Covenant people.

We each possess an otherworldly strength which was revealed by the Apostle Paul as “Christ in us.” Today, we finish our journey through the Land of Promise where we have developed strategic thinking in dealing with the enemies to approaching life from a position of victory.

"Sweet Spot." Golfers understand the term, so do tennis players. Ever swung a baseball bat or paddled a ping-pong ball? If so, you know that the sweet spot just feels right. Life in the sweet spot rolls like the downhill side of a downwind bike ride. It is as cool as the other side of the pillow.

We are now moving into the last two segments of our current series. Tracing the enemies faced by the children of Israel in the Land of Promise, we have been developing strategies that enable us to approach life from a position of victory.
