This time, Oliver and Anita interview Dr. Mahdi Awwad, a family medicine physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. In addition to a family medicine residency, Dr. Awwad went on to complete an obstetrics fellowship and now practices (and teaches) full-scope family medicine in an urban academic setting.

This week, Oliver and Anita interview Dr. Stephen Twyman, a family medicine physician at John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Twyman has dedicated his career to service, and he and his wife run a free clinic in the community. Dr. Twyman is also committed to practicing full-scope family medicine, and he helped create and run a program at JPS that teaches family medicine residents the skills to perform surgery.
