Beloved in the Lord Jesus: The church of God is not perfectly clean. The church is made up of fallen people trying to advance Christ's cause by the grace of God. That is just the reality. You see that uncleanness even in the lives of the patriarchs and their families. Keep in mind as we continue to learn of God's protecting of line of promise so Jesus would come, that God's love is so great that he did not dismiss his servants' weakness, but he continued to persevere with them, even in their weakness. You will see that today at the time Laban meets up with Jacob after he left Mesopotamia to return to the land called him to occupy. Our headings are: 1. Laban Searches for His God 2. Jacob Scolds Laban for His Sins 3. Yahweh Saves Jacob Our goals are: You will see, even though you are not perfect, God protects, provides for, and promotes you, so you can live to serve the Lord Jesus.
