To kick off the new series, YolanDa Brown sits down with violinist Nynke Hijlkema and clarinet player Thomas Watmough to discuss the experience of having a family while working as a professional musician in an orchestra. 

From taking kids on tour to long distance phone calls, the essential duty free gifts and encouraging music making in your own children, Nynke and Tom reveal the struggles and the joys of parenting as a musician.
