Sometimes we forget we are following a man (Jesus) that died for His enemies!

As we finish our month on "love", join us in Matthew 5 as we look at some of the most challenging words of Jesus...

It is lazy to look at people & subscribe value to them by what you see. Instead we are called to see them how God sees them - as a 10!

"I want to love...but how?"

How can I love with our world the way it is?

How can I love with my life the way it is?

How can I love with my heart the way it is?

The answer?

You give it ALL to God...

"And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick." - Matthew 14:14

Like Jesus, we should aim to put ourselves in other's place, instead of trying to put a person in their place...

One is the Gospel, the other is religious...

Proverbs 19:11 says...

"The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, & his glory is to overlook a transgression." (NKJV)

"Good sense and discretion make a man slow to anger, & it is his honor and glory to overlook a transgression or an offense without seeking revenge and harboring resentment." [AMP]

We have purposed to seek first...

We have listened for a word from the Lord...

Now we determine "what is our ship?" & we ride it to the intended place in God's plan for our lives!

The fulfilled destiny of every person is directly connected to hearing & obeying the Word from the Lord.

Therefore one of the greatest needs in every life, is to hear what God is saying...

We know God has called everyone to take steps to a closer relationship with Him and to bring more light into dark places...but how do we make those steps "surefooted" steps?

We do so by settling our past and looking forward to our next!
