Almost to the halfway point (there's no halfway to 17). If the season ended today, the playoffs would look like this:AFC- Dolphins, Ravens, Jags, and Chiefs win divisions. The Steelers and Browns would be wild cards. (Bills are a half-game behind, we need them to play the same number of games)NFC - Eagles, Lions, Falcons, and 49ers win divisions. Cowboys and Seahawks are wild cards.Is this how we expected the season to go? Will it change?

Let's talk about the baseball playoffs. Specifically, the format. Is it fair to the best teams? The Astros and Phillies have figured it out, but the Braves, Dodgers, and Orioles all won over 100 games and went 1-9 with the week off.  Also, do we need 162 games? If the playoffs are a crapshoot, if we're going to add teams, why not shorten the regular season? If the regular season matters, maybe don't have as many playoff teams.

NFL - No more "unbeaten" and let's talk about coaching decisions. Not about individual coaches, but just overall modern coaching theory. How did some of those coaching decisions wreck the games?
