The word Fandom is a mashup of the words Fanatic and Kingdom, meaning that you have a group of fanatical people that are loyal to something. Long before TV Shows, Movies, and Comics amassed their Fandoms the Sportsball Fandom was in full swing.  Today we’re talking about the sportsball fandoms both real and imaginary.  From the Puppy Bowl to the Hunger Games and from the National Football League to the Galactic Football League we point out how the very best...

Geek News! Batman has lost it’s director… okay maybe not “Lost” but he has stepped down.  The DCEU Flash has lost it’s director and is getting a page one rewrite.  Things are not boding well for the DCEU.  We talk about what this might mean, and does the tone of Ben Affleck’s statement seem a little PR’ish, maybe even written by the studio?  Did he really want to step down, was he forced down, or is he running away as...

Golden Age Balderdash! We all know what a Superhero is but the genre was basically invented in the Golden Age of comics which takes place between the 1930’s and 1950’s.  This week we bring Joe Darowski from the Protagonist Podcast and Golden Age expert on to play a game of Super Hero Balderdash. Doctor Mysterio Returns This episode could have been a fun episode but I think we were expecting so much more because we had 366 days without Doctor Who.  If this had been a mid season episode we would probably have been fine with it, but we had some issues with this Christmas Special. Think Doctor Who meets a Hallmark Movie. Random Fandom – TMNT Toys Nik spent the Day after Christmas cleaning out his studio to play musical Televisions, but...
