Fanning the Flames

The Phoenix Suns season is underway and we’re all back to discuss the season opener and, obviously, ideal a/c temps

The Phoenix Suns’ first two preseason games are in the books, and Dan and Justin check in to discuss why the early returns are promising.

Paul and Justin check in to discuss a beefed up Grayson Allen, the relationship between Devin Booker and Mike Budenholzer, the passing of Al McCoy, and other observations from Phoenix Suns' media day.

On our last episode, we said that we would be recording more regularly. A short four months later, here we are!

Paul and Justin talk Brad Beal's role with the team, the new City Edition uniforms, and other Suns-related (and not Suns-related) musings.

The Phoenix Suns' Big 3 have finally had the chance to get some extended reps together and the team is starting to click. On this episode of Fanning the Flames, we discuss:

It's been a long hiatus, but we're back for our first episode of Fanning the Flames since the season started and, indeed, since Deandre Ayton was traded by the Phoenix Suns (yes... it's been THAT long).

Dan and Justin break down the season so far, who has impressed us, who has disappointed us, and what things look like for the Suns moving forward.

Sit down with us and get to know the new voice of your Phoenix Suns, Jon Bloom, a little better. Bloomer joins us to talk the journey he took to his new gig, incorporating his love of music into his calls, Devin Booker's new signature shoes, and the upcoming Phoenix Suns season.

There's been a lot of activity in the world of the Phoenix Suns since the last episode of Fanning the Flames, so we have plenty to cover in this one. Topics include:

- Our thoughts on the Suns' new uniforms;

- Who's going to be the fifth starter?

- Is Deandre Ayton going to change the narrative?

- Who we are most excited to see in action out of the Suns' minimum contract players.

That, and more, on this episode of Fanning the Flames.

The Phoenix Suns landed Bradley Beal in what many call a fleecing of the Washington Wizards, but how will he fit alongside Devin Booker and Kevin Durant? We think just fine.

In addition to diving into that on this episode of Fanning the Flames, we also discuss:

- whether Deandre Ayton will be back with the team next year.

- Chris Paul being traded to the Golden State Warriors.

- what Daniel has against Ish Wainright
