Fanny Pack Wrestling Podcast

In this Gaiden episode of the Fanny Pack, Petey and the Deej sit down to reflect on what was and what could've been with Wrestling Society X. We marvel at the stacked line-up and lament that such a big stage for lesser-known talent had to be so short-lived. We also take a look at what might've been with Jeffrey Katz' Wrestling Retribution Project. All that awaits you. Enjoy!

Wrestling Retribution Project

On this episode of the Fanny Pack, we revisit Pro Wrestling Guerrilla with a couple of fresh perspectives. We are joined by the returning Brett Hibbard and the self-professed "High Holiday" wrestling fan, Chris Minton, to talk about PWG's anniversary show, "Ten". We discuss the Willie Mack's imminent rise in the wrestling world, observe hilarious behaviour from the crowd, gush about PWG's commentary, marvel at Ricochet's agility, and so much more. On this episode of Fanny Pack Wrestling, we bring in our buddy, Brett Hibbard to talk about a company that piqued Petey's interest while browsing Smart Mark Video, Dreamwave Wrestling. The Event: No Way Out...err... No Escape 2013. We talk about some wrestling that hapenned. Pretty much that's it. There's no reason to sugarcoat it, we basically describe all the reasons Dreamwave Wrestling set the bar for Indy Wrestling mediocrity.

So DJM decided, on a whim, to join Petey Rave in Atlanta for DragonCon, giving the guys the unprecedented opportunity to be in the same physical space. They seized this opportunity by commandeering The NSFW Show's Justin Robert Young and brought him into a hotel room to discuss the keystone to the history of Georgia wrestling, WCW. We discuss, the cruiserweights, NWO, Vince Russo and more.

Warning: This episode was recorded on a hastily slapped together recording setup in a hotel room. The audio is not to our usual standards.

We'll be back to our Indie Wrestling fare beginning next week. We promise!
