Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), directed by Tim Story, follows the superhero team as they face a new cosmic threat when the mysterious Silver Surfer arrives on Earth, heralding the coming of the world-devouring entity Galactus. As the Fantastic Four—played by Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards), Jessica Alba (Sue Storm), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), and Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm)—try to uncover the Surfer’s motives, they must also confront the return of their old foe, Victor Von Doom, played by Julian McMahon. The film blends action and science fiction as the heroes race to save the planet from total destruction.
