A League of Their Own (1992), directed by Penny Marshall, follows the formation of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during World War II. The story centers on two sisters, played by Geena Davis and Lori Petty, who join the Rockford Peaches under the management of former baseball star Jimmy Dugan, portrayed by Tom Hanks. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), directed by Tim Story, follows the superhero team as they face a new cosmic threat when the mysterious Silver Surfer arrives on Earth, heralding the coming of the world-devouring entity Galactus. As the Fantastic Four—played by Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards), Jessica Alba (Sue Storm), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), and Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm)—try to uncover the Surfer’s motives, they must also confront the return of their old foe, Victor Von Doom, played by Julian McMahon. The film blends action and science fiction as the heroes race to save the planet from total destruction.

Two new songs this week: Freak of the Week and Fantastic

Fantastic Four (2005), directed by Tim Story, follows four astronauts—Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd), Sue Storm (Jessica Alba), Johnny Storm (Chris Evans), and Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis)—who gain superpowers after being exposed to cosmic radiation during a space mission. As they struggle to control their new abilities and navigate their altered relationships, they must unite to stop the villainous Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon), whose own transformation poses a global threat.

This week, we've written songs about Superman 2, "Tough Act to Follow" and "Give Up All I've Got" 

Superman II (1980), directed by Richard Lester, follows Superman (Christopher Reeve) as he relinquishes his powers to live a normal life with Lois Lane (Margot Kidder), just as three Kryptonian criminals—General Zod (Terence Stamp), Ursa (Sarah Douglas), and Non (Jack O'Halloran)—escape from the Phantom Zone and threaten Earth. Clark Kent must decide whether to regain his powers and face the invaders. Gene Hackman also returns as Lex Luthor, who forms an uneasy alliance with the Kryptonian villains.
