Fantasy Benchwarmers

Disclaimer here is that this is not really a "planned" faceoff. But when we brought up James Harden as a topic, commish said it seems like Harden's trade market value is still high as one manager brought up a potential Harden for Tyrese Haliburton + 1 trade. This made us wonder whether Harden is still amongst the top fantasy players out there or has a player like Haliburton moved ahead of Harden already?

Some injury woes ended week 12 as Kevin Durant suffered an MCL sprain. As of this writing, he will be evaluated in 2 weeks which make his timetable around 3-4 weeks in my guesstimate. Tyler Herro also hurt his achilles, but as the report today said, it's just sore so it looks better than what we initially thought.

Plus we take a look at some possible waiver wire finds you can consider.

Happy New Year! Hope 2023 will be good to us and our family! We are back for some fantasy discussions and we kick things off by just looking back at some injury news we've missed including Zion Williamson, Kelly Oubre, Bradley Beal and some recent ones like Devin Vassell. Just a warm up episode as we approach the final push for the fantasy playoff season!

We also looked into the luxury stash market and debate on who is the better luxury stash for those safely in the top positions of their leagues.

Probably the last episode for 2022 (which has been great!) as we take a short break and enjoy the company of family in the next few days.

We talk Luka's magical night that got everyone crazy and happy, especially Luka owners! The guy is special...both from the real life and fantasy basketball perspective. Unfortunately for me, I did not have any Luka stocks so good luck to my teams going against this guy.

Devin Booker will be out for a month at least. Big blow as he is another early season stud that will be shelved for a bit. We also discussed the Mo Wagner - Killian Hayes incident, Domantas Sabonis playing through injury and a bunch more as we end 2022!

As always, thank you for listening or watching! See you in 2023!

What a first day of week 11! Commish Eric wanted to vent out some frustration on Terry Rozier who has been a major disappointment so far this season. We try and figure whether he is still a "buy low" candidate or just a player we should hope is not on our team. The same can probably be said about Rudy Gobert, who is slowly being outplayed by his backup Naz Reid. Can he still turn it around?

Plus, discussions on Keldon Johnson, Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, Alex "effin'" Len, Jimmy Butler (let this be the last we talk of this guy!)

It's that time of the year again when we just need to release some frustration! It's the ranting episode - who are some of the players in your teams that are fantasy studs but just very annoying to own? We had a few and we just wanted to get that release to make us feel a little better.

We take a look at 3 forwards who have joined our worry list - Scottie Barnes, PJ Washington, and Bol Bol. These three came from different draft position (Bol being most likely just a pick-up), and we dissect their game to see if they are "buy low" options ore is this their peak. We also look into three "replacement" centers who have been ballin' without their top stars - Naz Reid, Mo Wagner and soon Thomas Bryant.

Another fun quickie discussion which we hope you enjoy!

There you have it, the Anthony Davis injury everyone's been waiting/anticipating for. Reports say he will be out "at least" a month, which in NBA terms these days is roughly about 6 weeks. What's worrying is that there has not been any official diagnosis yet, so this could be worse. Hopefully not though.

With all these talks about potentially being unseated as the top fantasy player, well, Nikola Jokic, silenced me with a dominating performance! Jokic is clearly still the top fantasy basketball player and it looks like no one else is really close second.

A lot more nice stuff discussed here in this quickie including Paolo Banchero, Bennedict Mathurin, Jaden Ivey, Kevin Durant, and some general fantasy discussions.
