The India fantasy kabaddi has produced many talented kabaddi players during the past five years. These talented fantasy kabaddi players have made it to the top-most level and have made the nation proud.
In our today’s post, will relay a story of a young defender from Himachal Pradesh. He became one of the youngest players to be the captain of a team in the online kabaddi games at 11wickets.com
Let us have a look at the rise to fame of Telugu Titans’ superstar kabaddi games player Vishal Bhardwaj.
The 22-year-old Vishal Bhardwaj was born on January 1st 1997 at a village in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Unlike his other friends who were passionate about cricket, Vishal developed an interest in the game of Kabaddi at a very young age. He started playing Kabaddi in 8th standard at the age of 12 or 13. Vishal represented his school team in all the Inter-school Kabaddi tournaments. After his brilliant performances at the school level, he entered into his college with the same intensity towards Kabaddi.
Looking at his exceptional capabilities at college-level Kabaddi, Vishal was sent to Bilaspur for better professional training. He lived in Bilaspur, which is almost 1,600 km away from his hometown in Himachal Pradesh. However, this didn’t affect Vishal’s concentration as he was very confident of making it through the highest level. Vishal performed consistently and was selected for the Junior National team in 2016. He represented India in 3 major Junior Kabaddi tournaments and even won gold in one of the championships.
In 2016 Bhardwaj was picked up by the franchise Telugu Titans in the kabaddi fantasy game. But he didn’t get much chance and appeared in only two matches. During season 5 in 2017, he performed brilliantly well and was the backbone of Titans’ defence army. Vishal became the third successful defender of the season with 71 points in 22 games and an average of 3.22.
During the 6th season in 2018, he was made the captain of his side at the age of 21. Though the Titans have never won the championship and trophy, they have been decent players under Vishal’s leadership.
Vishal has always been a very calm and composed athlete. His strength, agility and quick decision making has made him one of the star defenders of the league.
Vishal’s signature move has been the ‘Ankle Hold’. Ankle Hold is a move which has been specialised this 22-year-old young defender. Ankle hold is one of the most iconic moves by a defender in the game of Kabaddi. In this, the defender uses his firm grip and tremendous strength to grab the opposition raider by the ankle and pull him back as soon as possible so that he doesn’t touch the mid-line.

This is how a footballer would put in place a crossing pass. As they run down the field to score a goal, kick the ball into the corner for their teammate to go after and kick back to them.
This is when footballers kick the ball from the corner or side of the field into the middle to one of the teammates in an effort to score.
If a footballer have the ball and want to pass it to his teammate so he can get open before getting the ball back, he would shout out “give and go.”
This is what a footballer would yell if someone on his team made a really amazing goal. Golazo!
When a teammate throws in or kicks off the ball, a footballer don’t simply stand there and watch. Instead, move around in a figure-eight position to get open, after that run to an open space so they can pass him the ball.
When the opponent kicks the ball by using the defender’s legs without the defender being able to prevent it.
The area of the field, which no one from either team is using. If a footballer hears this, he goes to that space and owns it.
If a footballer has the ball and his teammate runs past him from behind and shouts “overlap,” it means he should pass the ball forward so his teammate can take the ball on the run.
If a footballer have the ball but the other team is defending close to him, his teammate might shout “support,” suggesting the footballer will need to pass them the ball, head up to get open, and then be prepared for a return pass.
If the ball is coming at a footballer, he should get in front of it and use any part of your body (except the hands, obviously) to stop, redirect, or control the football.

If you will ask the fantasy kabaddi fans about the best team in the league. They will scream one name. Yes, you have guessed right. It is the Mumbai team! The team might not have played their potential in the last few seasons, but we have to agree that they are one of the best defenses in the league.
The 2nd India kabaddi league season champion, team Mumbai has always been blessed with superstars like Surender Nada, Mohit Chillar and Fazel Atrachali, the present captain of the team.
Hence, it is not a surprise that the Mumbai-based team holds most of the defensive records in the online kabaddi games. Here are seven records of the Mumbai team which are tough to break. Read on and join 11wicket.com to win exciting prizes:
U Mumba was the best team in the league for the first few seasons. They finished runner-ups in the first season but quickly made up for that with a title in the second season. And with yet another final in the third season, Mumbai became the first team to reach three consecutive finals. And they did it in the first three seasons itself.
The Mumbai based franchise has inflicted second most all-outs in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. U Mumba has 145 all-outs to their name in 107 games while Patna Pirates lead the way with 165 all-outs in 112 games.
Mumbai might have won only one title way back in 2015 but their defense has hardly let them down even after that. In the team’s 107 matches so far, Mumbai has made 1048 successful tackles, most by any team in the history of the Indian Kabaddi league.
It should come as no surprise that a team with most tackles in the Pro Kabaddi League history is also the team with most tackle points in total. U Mumba has won 1134 tackle points so far while Patna Pirates are second with 1112 points.
This is a testimony to what the best defense really is – Least points conceded by a team in six seasons so far. And despite winning the league just once, their defense has been rock solid every season. The Mumbai-based team has conceded just 3169 points in 107 games, least by a team founded in 2014. Patna Pirates, the three-time Champions are second on this list as well with 3237 points in 112 matches.
With the winning percentage of 63.55, U Mumba top the list amongst the teams from 2014. Only Gujarat Fortune Giants, who debuted is 2017, have a better winning percentage than U Mumba, 69.39.
U Mumba is the team with most wins in the Pro Kabaddi League history – 68! They have won more matches than any other team, even more than three-time champions Patna Pirates, who have won 63 games so far.

India is a nation where passion for different sports runs in every individual. First, it was the era of cricket. Our ancestors would reminisce about the golden period of test cricket. Then came the fever of hockey and now is the turn of kabaddi games.
Till date, none of the nations from the rest of the world have surpassed the talent of the Indian kabaddi players. And with the advent of the India fantasy kabaddi league, the sport is enjoying huge popularity amongst the fans from around the world.
No one has really envisioned the kind of success kabaddi fantasy league is enjoying. It is overwhelming how the sports enthusiasts have taken interest to the game.
Kabaddi is a sport involving loads of struggle and intense play. Hence, fantasy kabaddi needs loads of strategies. Read them on and play the game at 11wickets.com
A very common method of defense, immediate people hold their hands to form a chain and tries to trap the raider and recede back when the raider attacks.
Usually executed with covers and the middle man, this is not that common but effective against some raiders as this prevents them from going too much inside to get points.
This is a strategy used with everyone standing alone without holding hands, usually done in scenarios with fewer than 5 people present in the defending team. Very intense and provocative and can be really risky against a good raider. If you have great corners or covers, this move can be lethal.
If in the team you have one key raider, all the other players allow him to play in the middle and stand in formation ahead of the raider protecting him. This strategy is similar to the one in chess where you protect your King.
Baulk line advance, Bonus line advance
Another provocative strategy used when defense is under pressure not to let the raider take a point or make the raid legal by crossing the baulk line. A very risky move but if the raider is average, can work.
Bonus line advance is when the formation of defense stands in front of the bonus line trying to make it impossible for the raider to get a bonus point. This is fairly common strategy and can work well most of the times.
Surrender point, Surrender raid
Two types of strategies depending on the situation, if the defender is the last man standing and the team wants the inevitable all out done fast and move on with the game, defender goes to the raider and surrenders. This is a surrender raid, where the raider need not sweat to get the points.
The second situation is more complicated; if the defending team is leading by more than 2 points and it is the last moments of the match, maybe the last raid, one defender stands in front of the whole defense formation and sacrifices himself and does not let the raider go past him and allow him to take multiple points. This is a very clever strategy and is not seen often.

Cricket and fantasy cricket league are always promoted as gentlemen game; however, it has not always been mild if we retrospect its long history. We have seen numerous examples where cricketers crossed their limitations getting involved in the dispute and fight off and on the field.
Short-tempered, attacking and not the ones to take digs in the proper spirit, they split up the men from the gentlemen.
In this post, we are not likely to discuss fantasy cricket players who were aggressive but stayed perfectly within the spirit of the game. Additionally, we are not going to speak about players who got involved with only one notorious incident.
This is an imaginary list of 3 fantasy games players and has some of the finest names in the cricket history, who repeatedly had to deal with their outburst related issues during their career.
The Delhi-born opening batsman is consistently regarded as a player who wears his heart on his sleeves. Gambhir was linked to multiple controversies in his illustrious cricket career.
Gambhir had a heated feud with his Delhi coach, Bhaskar Pillai, at the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Bhubaneswar in 2017. He was presented with a four-match suspension from first-class cricket for his impolite action.
He was also involved in a notorious conflict with Virat Kohli in an IPL game between KKR and RCB in 2016 that lifted too many eyebrows about his outburst issues.
The former Indian cricketer was also linked to a giant fight with Shahid Afridi in 2007 at an ODI in Kanpur.
David Warner, who is at present serving a ban for his link in ball-tampering issue, has become involved with more than eight on and off-field issues in his cricket career. Warner’s outburst got the better of him in Twitter when he blasted Tasmanian fast bowler, Brett Geeves, with a rant of tweets.
He was suspended by Australia for apparently punching Joe Root at a club after a Champions Trophy match in 2013. He was even associated with on-field incidents with players such as Jonathan Trot, Thami Tsolekile, Quinton de Kock and Varun Aaron prior he got trapped in the notorious sand-paper scandal.
Virat Kohli, the well-known aggressive batsman and skipper of team India, is famous for controversies. His unpredictable behavior off and on the field gained a lot of criticisms worldwide. Though he has suppressed down his anger off-late, he is even now pocket dynamite that could explode any moment.
Kohli exhibited his finger to the Syndey crowd after they kept on insulting him and the team at the time of India’s trip to Australia in 2012. After that, during India’s practice session at Australia in 2015, the Indian captain needlessly shouted with violent words at a reporter for writing about his bond with Anushka Sharma.
He also got involved with Gautam Gambir on an unpleasant spat at the IPL game in 2016. His problems with Anil Kumble led to the Indian legend resigning from the post of Indian cricket team coach.

All Out
It is a kind of point in the game when all the players of the team are sent off by the other team. But at this point, the other team gets extra points but in kabaddi games, the team gets 2 points.
Super Raid
Super raid is a kind of extra point in which the raider successfully gets 3 or more defenders out, it is called a super raid. However, in case of the bonus point + 2 defenders out is also called a super raid.
Super Tackle
In this extra point, if the defending team is getting successfully tackled all the raiders, with 3 or fewer defenders in the side, it is called a super tackle and the d defending team gets extra points. However, if we talk about the kabaddi games then 1 point is being awarded in the league. Hence the defending team gets 2 points only instead of 1 point in a normal scenario for their efforts in the game.
